U13′s Colony Park Trophy Final Winners – Dyce Boys Club. Well done lads.

Never mind the end of season games in the Premiership, there was a far more important game being played at Colony Park Inverurie on Sunday when Dyce BC Under 13′s were playing Westdyke BC in the Colony Park Trophy Final, having beaten Fraserburgh on penalties in the second round after a 3-3 draw and then Peterhead 10-2 in the quarter finals which set up a semi final against Albion which was again won on penalties following a 0-0 draw.

The final was played in great spirit with both teams serving up a fantastic game of football for the large crowd who had came along to watch however as in every cup final there has to be a winner and on this occasion Dyce BC were victorious by 3 goals to 1.

Well done lads your first trophy in competitive football and the singing in the changing room after the match was also a sight to behold even if not very pleasant on the ear drums and you have made your coaches very proud as you can tell from the photo below.

Dyce Boys Club Summer Coaching Initiative

2006s & 2007s Club News

It’s the time of year when Dyce Boys Club kicks off its Summer Coaching Initiative.  As with past years offer a football coaching programme aimed at creating interest in the community and developing players that become linked to Dyce Boys Club.  The session is for children from P1 to P3 with the emphasis on introductory skills and gaining a love of the great game of Football!

Our first session for 2014 is at PITMEDDEN PARK, Dyce on Wednesday 14th May 2014 from 6.30 to 8pm.  These sessions will run from the end of May until roughly around the end of August.  Each session has a nominal £2 charge for each child’s participation.

Because of our ever-changing weather please ensure that your child is suitably attired for conditions, with a warm clothing, a waterproof jacket and if possible football boots and shin guards.  We would advise that parents should be in attendance at all times during the sessions, or nominate an adult to be in charge of their child.

If you have any questions regarding this initiative please do not hesitate to contact the Secretary of Dyce Boys Club by e-mail on kevin@dyceboysclub.com

We hope your child will come along and enjoy the summer coaching and that you will be able to help us to make their introduction to football a memorable one.
