2004's Club News Former Players Stepping Up

There was a unique and proud moment for Dyce Boys Club on Saturday 8th November as Aberdeen FC took on Dundee FC at Forfar Athletics stadium

The Five former Dyce teammates Jack Bowden, Aaron Reid (Aberdeen FC) Ryan Park, Ryan McShea, Lucas Smith (Dundee FC) at the 2004 age group played in the match and performed to their usual high standards by all accounts. I wont say which boys were the happier with the result but as you can see they were very happy to see old friends at the final whistle

Keep up the good work boys

Club News Featured Fundraising Dinner 2014

The Dinner on Friday 31 October at the Marriott Hotel was an outstanding success.
A turnout of over 230 people were treated to a night of laughter and first class entertainment
The whole thing was held together by the Master of Ceremonies supreme, Mr Ian Thain who saw to it there were no lulls in the proceedings and that the night went by without a hitch.
There was an excellent Halloween themed meal on offer accompanied by wine which no doubt helped put the assembled audience into party mood.
A Goal or no Goal competition featuring our 2004s kicked off the proceedings and saw one of our guests £500 richer almost from the very start
Darren Farley was the first to entertain the crowd and his impressions and attention to detail on his subjects were second to none leading him to be very warmly received
The undoubted star of the evening however was Eric Davidson who had the whole place in stitches and turned in a performance that would be very difficult to beat
He was extremely funny and his send up in song of Ryan Giggs was unbelievable.
However the tribute to Denis Law , The Last King of Scotland was something else.
You could hear a pin drop whilst Eric performed his tribute which ended with a tumultuous reception and you could tell it all came from Eric’s heart.
A very successful raffle and even better auction saw to it that the club would not be out of pocket for the evening and it was a very happy crowd that left the hotel from midnight onwards.
I believe some of our committee even lasted well after 4!
There were photographs taken on the night which will follow and the next Dinner has been booked for Friday 28 October 2016 at the same venue
