Dyce Boys Club are greatly indebted to Dolphin Drilling and Andy Forbes in particular for their sponsorship by way of the provision of brand new Adidas training tops for every boy at the club. We are delighted with this arrangement with Dolphin Drilling and can’t thank them enough for their generosity. The photograph shows all the boys in their splendor and the tops ensure that Dyce Boys Club will be one of the smartest turned out clubs in Aberdeen
A big thank you from all the boys to Dolphin Drilling and especially Andy Forbes.

Help Dyce Boys Club support a worthy cause

Club News Featured Uncategorized

Our long serving Treasurer/Under 8 coach Len Nicol suffered an Ischaemic Stroke in September last year. Thanks to all at the Stroke Unit Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Len is well on his way to full fitness again. As a thank you to the Ward Len has set up an appeal fund to raise money to buy Patients Chairs which are much needed and is short supply at the Unit. In addition to this he has organised a Charity Walking Football afternoon at the Sports Village in March where all players taking part will be sponsored and or making donations to the cause. Teams taking part are the AFC Community Trust Walking Footballers, Dyce BC Officials (the older ones) and former team mates from Cove Rangers FC The appeal is going well but as all proceeds are going to the Stroke Unit at ARI any donations would be gratefully received.
And as you can see we are delighted to have the support of some of our most famous players to help the cause for someone who has given so much to the club.

Busy transfer window for former Dyce boys!

Club News Featured Former Players Uncategorized

Two of our former players have been involved in transfers in the January window and is a reminder to all our current players of the heights they can reach with talent, hard work and commitment.

Stuart Armstrong
Stuart Armstrong of Dundee United has had a change of club’s in the transfer window.
Stuart has been transferred to Celtic FC for £1.6 million, making him the most expensive Dyce player so far and has earned a dream move to the current League Champions
Playing for the Bhoys is far removed from wearing the blue and white hoops of Dyce but Stuart has been earning rave reviews
for his performances with United and we are sure it wont be long before he is gaining honours with the Glasgow club
Graeme Shinnie
Great news for all Aberdeen FC Supporters.
Our former player Graeme Shinnie currently plying his trade with Inverness Caley has signed a pre contract with the Dons
which will see him in a red shirt next season next to other former Dyce boys Cammy Smith and Russell Anderson.
Graeme has been the subject of interest these last couple of seasons with a number of clubs and was hotly tipped to join
brother Andrew another former Dyce player at Birmingham City.
However Graeme has plumped for the Dons and we say welcome back to Graeme and wish him a long and happy stay at Pittodrie
Everyone at Dyce Boys Club is delighted for both boys and we can’t wait to see the progress they will make in the future
