On a day when the weather made any chance of playing good football near impossible Aberdeen gave the Dyce boys a lesson. Dyce started well and forced the Aberdeen keeper in to make a fine save but it was not long before Aberdeen opened the scoring. After that they dominated the play with the Dyce boys chasing shadows. We still managed to create a few chances but lady luck was not on our side in front of goal where's every shot Aberdeen had seemed to go in.We managed to score our first goal when Connor Robertson took his chance well but Aberdeen replied right from the kick off which knocked the stuffing out of the boys.

The second half performance was a wee bit better but Aberdeen still controlled the proceedings despite Dyce's best player on the day Andrew Smith playing very well. At times he seemed to be the only Dyce player on the park as one second he was defending and the next he was attacking.

A very good performance from Aberdeen today but a very poor performance from the Dyce  team. Today we never gelled as a team and it showed that we will have to do a lot of hard work at training this week.

Man of the Match; With out a doubt ANDREW SMITH who ran his heart out and was the best player on the park in the second half.

Neil, Gordon.
