Stonehaven BC 0
- 4 Dyce BC Saturday,
30th August 2003 at
Stonhaven
For the second week in a row it was a difficult away
tie, however what a performance !!
Dyce started strongly and took
an early lead through a headed Steve Inglis goal from a set piece corner.
After that, the pressure was kept on and only the goalkeeping skills of
the Stonehaven keeper kept the scoreline to the one goal at half
time. As at Peterhead changes
were made early in the second half in midfield and upfront and Dyce went 2
nil up thanks to a cool finish from Paul Bowman. This was followed up by a
very classy chip by Steve Whyte which left the keeper with no chance.
Jamie Ogg made it four nil with a neat turn and shot from the edge of the
six yard box following excellent lead up work on the right side of
the park. An excellent result with
the defence again laying strong foundations with a confidant display from
all. Three of the goals came from excellent lead up play from defence
through midfield and ultimately finished off by a midfielder or a
forward.
Good flowing football
(almost) at its best !! An excellent result well done the players
!!
