The indoor coaching sessions for the Under 8 squad held in Dyce Academy since September are now complete.

We finished the sessions by presenting each boy with a Certificate awarded for their efforts throughout the Season.

It is most pleasing to see the improvement in the boys technique and whilst some progress a little quicker than others

the all round improvement in each boy is there to see.

 

We now move outdoors and will recommence on Thursday 19 April, commencing at 6.30pm and finishing at 8pm. We will use

the grass area behind Asda for sessions and it is important that the boys are suitably attired for the weather conditions. Football boots and

shinguards should be worn if at all possible.

 

Outdoor work is much different from indoors – there is more space available for the playing of games –  whilst it is our intention

to concentrate more on positional play and shape of a team whilst learning the boys that a different weight of pass is required on a grass pitch.

Hopefully we can continue the learning process on a fun basis and we look forward to seeing everyone again on Thursday 19 April.
