A big congratulations from all at Dyce Boys Club to Luke Emmett, Jamie Massie and Ross Mowatt from our under 14 side who have been selected for the A&DJFA select side. It’s always great for the boys to get recognised individually for their excellent performances and hard work through out the season but I’m sure they would be the first to thank their team mates and coaches for helping them in being selected

Well done boys and all the boys for your matches with the select that follow

Goals Galore

The players of Dyce Boys Club will take part in our annual fundraising event with this year being goals galore.

Every age group will play football for an hour and all the goals will be added to give the grand total which all parents, grandparents, friends and basically anyone who fancies giving it a go will try and predict and win a prize for the closest guess!

The event will take place at various dates and venues in the first week of March so be sure to keep an eye out for the boys coming your way with their sponsorship forms and help support the boys club and maybe win in the process.

A helpful hint we have 8 age groups to all take place but sorry I cant give anymore help than that!

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year

Argue for your limitations, and sure enough, they are yours. Everything comes to him who hustles while he waits. Men who try to do something and fail are infinitely better off than those who try to do nothing and succeed. You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it true. You may have to work for it, however. There is a time for departure even when there is no certain place to go.

Until you try, you do not know what you cannot do. Imagine you only have one year to live. What important things would you be doing? How would you be allotting your time to accomplish the most you could? This exercise is one method of going after your priorities. Some people walk in the rain. Others just get wet. The man who is waiting for something to turn up might start on his shirt sleeves. I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something I can do.

Once you make the fundamental choice to be the predominant creative force in your life, any approach you choose to take for your own growth and development can work, and you are especially attracted to those approaches which will work particularly well for you. I do not seek. I find. You must have long-range goals to keep you from being frustrated by short-range failures. You cannot cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water. Do not let yourself indulge in vain wishes. If you do not do it excellently, do not do it at all. Because if it is not excellent, it will not be profitable or fun, and if you are not in business for fun or profit, what the hell are you doing there?
