The players of Dyce Boys Club will take part in our annual fundraising event with this year being goals galore.

Every age group will play football for an hour and all the goals will be added to give the grand total which all parents, grandparents, friends and basically anyone who fancies giving it a go will try and predict and win a prize for the closest guess!

The event will take place at various dates and venues in the first week of March so be sure to keep an eye out for the boys coming your way with their sponsorship forms and help support the boys club and maybe win in the process.

A helpful hint we have 8 age groups to all take place but sorry I cant give anymore help than that!

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year

Everyone at Dyce Boys Club would like to wish our players, past and present, Parents, coaches and sponsors a very happy Christmas. We would like to thank everyone of them for their continued support to help the club to be successful on and off the pitch.

We finish the year at the end of another enjoyable campaign for our non competitive teams, our Under 13 and 14 teams both sitting top of their respective leagues and our former players continuing to excel from the juniors up to the SPFL Premiership.

Im sure everyone will be glad of a break but looking forward to starting the new year and getting back under way with many exciting developments happening on and off the pitch.

Please everyone have a safe and enjoyable Christmas

Under 15′s use of Uniconn Park

Under 16's

Season 2013/2014 has seen our Under 15 team play their home fixtures at Uniconn Park the home of Hermes Junior Football Club.

The cost of playing there is not inconsiderable and the Under 15 lads are due a huge amount of gratitude to Bruce Gill of Harlen Energy Services backed up by David Wood and his Spree Book company. Without their financial input the club could not have justified the expense of playing the home matches at such a venue and on behalf of the boys would like to express our grateful thanks to the two very generous benefactors who ensured this was possible.

The boys will hopefully repay your faith by bringing some silverware to the club.

Thank you Bruce and Dave

Argue for your limitations, and sure enough, they are yours. Do not play for safety; it is the most dangerous thing in the world. Do not be afraid to take big steps. You cannot cross a chasm in two small jumps. Nothing comes from doing nothing. This Saturday, do something you have wanted to do for years. Something just for yourself. And repeat this process once every month.

Every man takes the limits of his own field of vision, for the limits of the world. Nothing of great value in life comes easily. You cannot cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water. Do not let yourself indulge in vain wishes. All who seek the roots of life dig in solitude for them. Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff …and it’s All Small Stuff.

Though no one can go back and make a new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new end. To avoid criticism, do nothing, say nothing, be nothing. The grass is not, in fact, always greener on the other side of the fence. No, not at all. Fences have nothing to do with it. The grass is greenest where it is watered. When crossing over fences, carry water with you and tend the grass wherever you may be. That which does not kill us makes us stronger. In the long run, men hit only what they aim at. Therefore, they had better aim at something high. It is by what we ourselves have done, and not by what others have done for us, that we shall be remembered in after ages. There is a time for departure even when there is no certain place to go. One machine can do the work of fifty ordinary men. No machine can do the work of one extraordinary man.
