Dyce Girls Tour Pittodrie

Pitt1

Dyce Girls met Pittodrie tour guide Alec, who showed them around the stadium. The tour began with a brief history of Aberdeen Football Club and an introduction to Aberdeen Football Club Community Trust. The girls were then shown the Players’ Lounge. Unfortunately, the majority of the players were away training but they did meet three youth players. Next stop was the corporate areas where the girls were told about some of Aberdeen’s past players and managers before being given a view of the stadium from the BP box.
The girls were also shown the Kit Room, the Boot Room (which was very smelly) and then took the short walk from the Dressing Rooms to the pitch, and sat on the substitutes’ bench. The tour finished with a visit to the Board Room.
On leaving the stadium, the girls were excited to see the Aberdeen players and manager, Derek McInnes, return from training, with Mark Reynolds stopping to sign autographs.

The Girls had a brilliant day and a big thank you to Aberdeen FC for making the day happen
