Culter BC 2 - 5 Dyce BC Sunday 14th September 2008 at Kaimhill After last weeks disappointing result and performance another tough game was expected today. The opening exchanges were very even and Dyce took the lead in the first period when Cameron Pashley opened the scoring with a good headed goal. Culter equalised shortly after, when the Dyce midfield were slow to react to a clearance from the defence and the Culter midfield player hit a 20 yard shot into the net. Dyce regained the lead when a corner from Jordan Cromar was forced home by Aaron Penny. Dyce extended their lead when a great corner from Jordan Cromar was headed into the net by a Culter Player. Dyce were now playing with confidence and had further chances from Dyllan and Alex. Goal no.4 from Dyce came from their best move of the game when Dan turned the Culter defender inside out and squared the ball back for the on rushing Aaron Penny to score his second goal. The final goal for Dyce came from a well worked short corner and a delivery from Alex Cobban was turned past the Culter keeper by one of his own players. Culter scored a consolation goal near the end when a corner evaded all the Dyce players and was forced over the line by the Culter striker. Much improved performance today. Well done Man of the Match; Jack Pirie Gordon and Steve |
