As League Champions, Dyce BC 16s represented Aberdeen & District Juvenile FA, but the original squad was depleted by eight players due to holidays and a senior club's last minute request that their soon-to-be players did not take part.

However after a hard week, the new squad, including five of last season's 15s and the others representing Dyce BC for the first time, acquitted themselves well and were a credit to the Club.

With the pre-match warm-ups being taken by Coach MacAskill, the Group Stages saw Dyce BC come third after a draw with Stornoway Utd. 0-0, a win against Old Benonians (South Africa) 1-0 and a defeat against Clermont Ferand (France) 1-2.

The Consolation matches resulted in a win against Shetland 2-1 and a defeat against Stavanger (Norway) 1-2.

The 16s Final was won by Clermont Ferrand (3-0) against Stornaway, who had come first and second in Dyce BC's group.

With the 16s two top goal scorers (total of 50 goals) missing, it was left to our "mystery striker" Murray Kinnaird to be our top goal scorer with three goals from five games (he was in goal for three of these!)

Thanks again to all the players who took part and best wishes from the Club go to those 16s players who have played their last game for Dyce Boys Club. The coaches have been proud to be associated with such a talented squad of players and hope you have as good memories as we have.
