Dyce turned up with a full squad this week and therefore had 3 subs. The game started with Dyce putting some early pressure on with a shot by Angus Burrows blocked by a defender.

 

Some more good forward play by Bradley, Calum, Matthew and Kieran kept up the pressure which resulted in a corner, this was taken by Liam Grant, met by Bradley whose shot beat the keeper.

 

This pressure was kept up by all the Dyce players with some really good moves by all involved, this led to Dyce going in with a 4 –0 lead after the first period.

 

Unfortunately Nathan was suffering from a foot injury so had to come off in this period, a good effort from him though. 

 

1st period Middlefield SC 0 – Dyce BC 4

 

The second period started in the same way with all the Dyce players determined to add to the goal tally, Ben Soutar was given the chance to play in a more attacking role and took his chances well by scoring a number of goals.

 

2nd period Middlefield SC 0 – Dyce BC 10

 

With little to do in goal Thomas was given the chance to play outfield and as a result managed to score twice adding to goals from Ryan and Liam.

 

Credit to the Middlefield boys who kept on battling and deservedly managed to get a goal before the end.
