Dyce BC 18 - 0 East End Eagles Sunday 11th December 2005 Pitmedden Road Starting Team This was the first game for 3 weeks due to weather conditions. The boys started the game at a quick pace with some good passing moves between Joe & Ben. After 3 mins the boys broke the deadlock with a powerful run and shot from Conner. 2 mins later the boys made is 2 with good play between Charlie & Andrew, passed to Adam who beat 2 defenders with ease to cut the ball back from byline and pass to Ben who finished clinically. Conner made it 3 with a powerful shot from 15 yards. Craig McL made it 4-0 with a great run down right and a shot which sneaked into the keepers front post. Great play by Joe who beat 2 defenders and picked out Ben with an inch perfect pass leaving him to finish with a low shot into the corner. More good play between the two Craigs saw the ball crossed in for Bruce to finish powerfully. Craig McL made it 7-0 with a good run and finish. Goal of the day came from Andrew with a fantastic shot from 20 yards high into top corner. Adam made it 9-0 with a powerful shot into bottom corner. Half Time: 9-0 Adam made it 10-0 from kick off playing a 1-2 with Philip and finishing in style. Philp had a great run from halfway line only to see his shot rebound off the post and land at Adam's feed who finished easily. Bruce scored his second with a powerful run and finish. Philp made it 13-0 with a cool finish. Joe got a well deserved goal to make it 14-0 following a good run and finish. Philip (x2) scored with another great run and finish, closely followed by his hatrick after taking 2 defenders on and finishing with ease. Adam made it 17-0 with good play down right and finishing with a low shot across keeper. Adam scored his fifth of the game following a powerful run and shot. Full Time: 18-0 A good performance from the boys against a weaker team who played most of the game with an extra player. What was most pleasing was that the boys never got greedy and continuously passed throughout the whole game. Each one of them played brilliantly, even Daniel who didn't have much to do in goals for 40 mins! His stint as striker/midfielder/defender for the last 10 mins showed sheer determination to get himself on the score sheet but unfortunately to no avail. WELL DONE !
