Dyce were straight into attack from the start and with only a couple of minutes gone a throw in from Ben to Bradley who knocked it back to Ben who lobbed the keeper (1-0 Dyce).

At the other end a Banchory corner was well cleared by Liam.

An early injury to Callum Cochrane saw him sit out the remainder of the game.

After a strong start from Dyce that game turned into a good midfield tussle with both teams giving everything they had.

Another good attack from the right by Bradley who crossed to Ryan who laid off the ball to Dylan whose shot was well blocked by the Banchory defence.

At the other end a quick break by Banchory was ended by a great goal saving tackle from Matthew.

In an end to end game Dyce had two great chances when Dylan hit the bar from the right and Ryan had a great strike saved by the Banchory keeper.

However Banchory were giving as good as they got and at the other end only a great save from Ross stopped the ball going into the top corner.

Banchory,s resilience eventually paid off when a quick break resulted in a good save from Ross but the Banchory forward followed it in to make it 1-1.

2nd Half

The game started at the same pace as the first finished and Banchory were unlucky not to take the lead when a shot flew over the Dyce bar.

At the other end Ryan had a great defence splitting pass cleared off the line.

Again the game turned into a midfield battle.

Banchory eventually go the break through when a strong shot was fired high into the roof of the net over Ross head. (2-1 Banchory)

The game was now in full flow with both teams passing the ball well.

There was delay of a couple of seconds until Dylan received treatment to a injury sustained on the sidelines due to a horrific tackle on him by his Grandad where shouts of sign his grandad was dismissed by the Dyce management :-).

Dyce were soon on the attack again when a good corner by Ryan was headed against the bar by Liam.

How ever banchory began to put sustained pressure onto the Dyce goal and only strong defending from Ben and Matthew at the back prevented Banchory scoring.

Score (2-1)

Third half.

Dyce took a hold of the game from now on and a quick corner from Dyce gave Dylan the chance to score with a great header to level the score 2-2.

A strong tackle on the edge of the Banchory box by Ben gave him the chance to rifle a shot into the top corner 3-2 Dyce.

How ever Banchory were still proving to be a threat with Angus and Matthew having to both make timely tackles to prevent scoring opportunities.

A great piece of individual play from Liam when he jinked passed two defenders and stoked the ball into the net 4-2 Dyce.

Another good piece of defending by Angus broke down a quick Banchory attack.

A strong volley from Ben after a clearance from a corner resulted in the keeper parrying the ball out to Kieran who slid the ball home 5-2 Dyce.

A well contested game with both teams playing some great football with Dyce eventually getting a grip of the game a slowly starting to dominate.
