Game report -

Both teams started off in reasonably good conditions which worsened pretty quickly making if difficult for both teams.

Despite this both, teams made positive starts with Dyce looking the stronger of the 2 teams initially, creating a number of chances.

Early on a good move down the left wing saw Angus Burrows link in well with Liam Grant who managed to score after 4 minutes, play continued mostly in the midfield and into the Stonehaven half and a few minutes later, after some pressure down the right side from Angus Burrows the ball went out for a corner. The corner was taken and met by Ryan Booth whose shot beat the

Stonehaven goalkeeper to put Dyce into a 2 goal lead.

By this time the rain was falling more heavily, to their credit both teams were trying to play football but the conditions did not make this easy, however Dyce went into a 3 goal lead through a shot from Ryan Booth which gave the keeper no chance.

Late into the first period Kyle Samuel and Ross Smith came on and did their best to get involved in the game.

Moving into the second period Stonehaven gradually came back into the game and pressurised a bit more, managing to pull a goal back, the Dyce defence were starting to be caught out on a couple of occasions as a result.

By this time the rain was getting heavier but there was still time for the `goal of the match`, Bradley Manson found space within the Stonehaven defence and from a corner managed to connect on the volley sending the ball into the left side of the goal.

The game was abandoned shortly afterwards due to the weather but well done to both teams for trying to play good football.
