Middlefield Wasps 0 - 0 Dyce BC Sunday 20th April 2008 Aulton Dyce made a great start to the game playing some fantastic football and good passing.
A good passing move down the left by Matthew and Liam ended with Ryan having a strong shot blocked on the line.
At the other end a strong run from Middlefield ended with a fantastic finger tip save from Nathan that was heading for the top corner.
Another good move by wasps seen another point blank save from Nathan when every one else was waiting for the ball to hit the net.
After a couple of scares Dyce broke up the field with a strong run by Angus which produced a great save from the keeper for a corner.
From the corner Angus had a great shot cleared off the line.
Dyce continued to press for the break through and another corner produced a great strike by Ryan.
A long through in from Ben seen Liam hit the bar with a vicious shot.
Buy now there was constant pressure from Dyce who were unable to cash in their dominance.
At the other end a strong challenge from Matthew saw a wasp shot deflect out for a corner.
Ben produced an excellent tackle on the edge of the box to prevent another strike at goals.
The game was flowing from end to end now with Matthew blocking on the goal line at Dyce end and Ryan hitting the bar at the other end.

2nd half.
Wasps made a strong start and again Nathan came to Dyces rescue with another good stop from close range after a corner.
After some early pressure Dyce soon took control of the game again and good work by Ryan and Angus on the right ended with Liam having a good shot stopped by the wasp's keeper.
Another strong run down the left by Liam created a good chance with Angus firing a shot just over.
The game turned into a hard game in the middle of the park with no teams giving up any territory and some strong challenges being produced by both teams.
Dyce again took control of the game and a good attack saw Bradley fire in a strong shot only for it to be cleared off the line.
Another great sliding tackle from wasps on Ben saved a definite goal.
As Dyce pressed for the winner Wasps began to get more aggressive with one of the wasps players having a kick at Bradley off the ball. In true Dyce spirit Bradley responded with a strong run down the middle only for the keeper to save.
The game finished with Dyce pushing but unable to find the net.
Never has a 0-0 been more entertaining with both teams committed 110%.
A good passing game by Dyce saw them produce some great chances but yet despite their dominance at the other end some great saves from Nathan kept the score at 0-0. Dyce gave their all against a physical more aggressive Wasps WELL DONE LADS.
