Our 2009 side at their first 4 v 4 festival
Dyce Boys Club are committed to carrying out the its Developing Talent Programme which focuses on individual skills, moves and turns that are being used by some of the world greatest players.  The boys are continually assessed on the core skills and drills being taught with progression to Super 5’s and & 7 a side football being the next goal in their development.

One graduate of such skills development is Barcelona’s Lionel Messi:-

“As a kid our coaches taught us not to play to win, but to grow in ability as a player. At Barcelona we train every day with the ball and we hardly ever run without a ball at our feet”

Using these skills the 2008 and 9 age group play in the local SYFA / ADJFA 4v4 Festivals that take place all over the North East.  Some highlights from past seasons have been that the boys got to play at Pittodrie Stadium, home of Aberdeen FC, Allan Park, home of Cove Rangers FC and Balmoor Park, home of Peterhead FC.
